User Interface > Keyboard Interface > Shortcuts of the Game View

Keyboard shortcuts are representing abbreviations for general functions, like undo or save. They are not bound to a specific input element. Instead, they are received by the superior game view and executed if allowed and possible. Separate keyboard shortcuts are defined for overlay panes. Table 8 lists all the keyboard shortcuts that can be used when no overlay pane is visible:

Key Function Remarks
Ctrl+A Shows the games archive pane.
Ctrl+B Makes the app bar visible and sets the input focus to the first enabled app bar button.
Ctrl+Shift+B Sets the input focus to the menu button on the title bar. The title bar is available only on PCs in desktop mode.
Ctrl+F Shows the game files pane.
Ctrl+H Shows the online help page associated to the current content of the game view. The online help requires an active Internet connection.
Strg+I Shows the app info pane. Here, for example, you can send a feedback email about the current game if you have noticed something about it. Sending a feedback email requires an active Internet connection.
Strg+L Shows the log files pane.
Ctrl+N Starts a new game.

A new game is started. If the current game is not saved yet, the user is asked whether he wants to save or to discard the game state. He can also cancel the action.

Strg+P Shows the game setting pane. You can only change the game settings if the current game has not yet started. If necessary, you can restart the game beforehand by pressing Ctrl+R.
Ctrl+R Restarts the current game. All actions done are reverted.
Ctrl+S

Saves the current game score and all other data locally. If you use the online license, the global settings and game statistics are also uploaded to KubiServer, so that you can access them on another device.

The current game score, settings, and statistics are only saved if they have been changed in any way since loading. If you use the same account on multiple devices, you will always receive the most recently uploaded data.

Ctrl+Alt+S Only saves the current game state if necessary.
Ctrl+T The game assistant highlights the game card or input element once, allowing the next action to be performed. In addition to the highlight, a message also indicates the highlight. However, this message can be suppressed. If you want the game assistant to always highlight the next possible action, you must enable the corresponding global option.
Ctrl+X Closes the visible overlay pane even when the pane is locked.
Ctrl+Y Repeats the last action reverted.
Ctrl+Z Reverts the last action.
Esc
Back
Stops a running animation or lets overlay panes disappear. The key could be evaluated also by the focused input element.
F1 Shows the online help page associated to the current content of the game view. The online help requires an active Internet connection.
