Keyboard shortcuts are abbreviations for common functions, such as showing the next overlay or displaying context-sensitive online help. They are not tied to a specific input element. Rather, they are received by the root overlay pane and executed when their execution is permitted and possible. Table 15 shows all keyboard shortcuts that can be executed when an overlay pane is visible:
